Daily Spirits for Iwami – Junishingi Kagura

Today, I’m in Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima,
for the Jūnishingi Kagura Festival.

I came here to study the performances
as part of my design work.
It’s my first time watching these sacred dances,
and I’m truly enjoying each one.

While observing the stage,
I reflect on what connects this to Iwami Kagura,
what makes it different,
and what each movement and step might mean.

I hope to carry these experiences home with me—
not just in memory, but deep within.

I will become the messenger of Iwami.
In other words, the messenger of the Chūgoku region.

石見のための、日々スピリッツ【十二神祇神楽】

今日は広島・廿日市で開催中の「十二神祇神楽大会」へ。

目的は、ポスター制作のための現地学習。
初めて見る演目の数々を、とても楽しんでいます。

石見神楽と共通する動き、違い、
そして舞や脚の一つひとつに込められた意味を、
舞台を見ながら考えています。

この現場で感じたことを、
しっかり自分の中に持ち帰りたいと思います。

石見の伝導者となる！
すなわち、中国地方の伝導者となる！
